About Me – Anthony Madsen

I’m Anthony Madsen, an athlete and the founder of Madsen Performance Institute (MPI).

I built MPI because most athletes are stuck between two flawed options: generic training that ignores recovery, or clinical systems that treat symptoms but never address performance. MPI exists to close that gap.

Competing across multiple sports and overlapping seasons taught me something most athletes learn too late. Performance does not break down from one bad lift or one hard practice. It breaks down from accumulated fatigue. When recovery is ignored, speed drops, strength stalls, and injuries follow. When recovery is built into the system, athletes gain an edge that most never touch.

My background is rooted in competitive sports, strength training, and performance focused recovery. Everything MPI does is built around keeping athletes healthy, progressing, and available when it matters most.

MPI is not about gimmicks, trends, or one size fits all programs. It is a system built on consistency, intent, and results. Training, recovery, and preparation are treated as one integrated process.

The long term vision is simple. Build a performance and recovery system that athletes trust at every level, from youth sports to collegiate and beyond.

Until then, the focus remains where it should be:
Doing the work, refining the system, and helping athletes perform at their highest level.Â
